What’s better than sunshine, giggles, and a whole lot of lemony goodness? This recent lemonade-themed cake smash and milk bath session brought all the summer vibes and sweetness; truly a session to remember!
One of the standout details of this session was the stunning bonnet she wore—crafted with soft white and yellow florals, delicate greenery, and the sweetest tiny faux lemons tucked in. It framed her face beautifully and brought an extra touch of whimsy to the setup. The bonnet tied the whole lemonade theme together, adding charm and texture while making every photo feel like a page out of a storybook.

From the moment baby saw the cake, we knew we were in for some serious fun. Dressed in a beautiful blue romper with yellow lemons with the perfect ruffle details, she dove right into her lemon-adorned smash cake with both hands and the happiest squeals.
After the cake fun came cleanup time—but make it adorable. The milk bath setup was simple but oh-so-sweet. We filled a rustic basin with warm milk and floating lemon slices. Baby splashed, played, and even tried to eat a lemon or two (with some classic sour-face expressions, of course!).
Milk bath sessions are one of my favorite ways to wrap up a cake smash—it’s both calming and photogenic, and babies love the water play.
